Early childhood is a time of rapid growth, when seemingly small skills can make a meaningful difference in a child's everyday life.
Modernized offers support across school, home, and community settings, with services ranging from direct work with children to consultation and planning with families and professionals. The nature of that support is guided by each child's needs and the environments where it will be most useful.
SCHOOL SUPPORT
Support within school settings may include observation, direct 1:1 support, behavioral and developmental intervention, classroom strategies, goal development, behavior support planning, and progress monitoring.
Collaboration with teachers and other professionals helps create consistency throughout the school day, with a focus on strengthening participation and independence in the classroom.
HOME + COMMUNITY
SUPPORT
Support can extend into the places where everyday life happens—at home, during playdates and activities, in after-school programs or camps, and throughout community routines.
The focus is on helping children build practical skills that support participation, connection, flexibility, and greater independence in these settings.
CONSULTATION + PLANNING
Consultation helps families and teams better understand a child's challenges, identify factors that may be contributing to them, and determine practical ways to move forward.
Services may include observation, individualized recommendations, behavior support planning, parent and caregiver guidance, school consultation, written plans or reports, and coordination with other professionals.
